Last Messages From John The Revelator

Vigilant-Keeping careful watch for possible danger or difficulties:
Valiant-Possessing or showing courage or determination
Virtuous- A pattern of thought and behavior based on high moral standards, including chastity
Victory- An act of defeating an enemy 



1 Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

Alma 53:20 "And they were all young men, and they were exceedingly valiant for courage, and also for strength and activity; but behold, this was not all -- they were men who were true at all times in whatsoever thing they were entrusted."

Phillipians 4:8" Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Revelations 15:2 "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God."

John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.


   Showing the V sign may have loaded meanings for some cultures but in Seminary the V sign, palms out, reminds us to continue the good work we embarked on this year. It will be carried into the new year where I hope we find numerous stories of vigilant, valiant, and virtuous women and men of God.
